Cy-Fair-area location of donut chain gets perfect score on public health inspection
A Cy-Fair-area location of a popular donut chain recently received a perfect
score in a follow-up visit from Harris County public health inspectors.
Inspectors visited Shipley Do-Nuts, located at 21149 Tomball Parkway, on
March 24. Shipley Do-Nuts received zero demerits out of a possible 100 to
earn its perfect score.
This is the first time this location of Shipley Do-Nuts has received a
perfect score. The visit was the second of two follow-up visits this
month; inspectors initially visited on March 10 and again on March 15. On
both earlier visits, inspectors cited "hot hold" violations, which means
that food that is time- or temperature-sensitive is held below a certain
temperature for more than four hours. This particular violation is among
those most commonly associated with food-borne illness by the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention.
