HS girls softball preview: Langham Creek vs. Cy-Fair
Langham Creek will battle Cy-Fair in girls softball action on Tuesday.
“We need to keep our offense rolling this week,” said Cy-Fair Head Coach Debra Burrow. “Last weekend Jordan Rains (HR) and Ashley Leins (3-for3) did an awesome job driving in runs for us. If we can keep the bats going and (pitchers) Laura Driskill and Mariah Gibson stay strong, I know we’ll do well.”
Game time is scheduled for noon at Langham Creek.
Langham Creek has a 3-12-0 record on the season and is 1-7-0 in district play. On Tuesday, Langham Creek lost to Cy Ranch, 9-6.
Cy-Fair is 16-8-0 on the year and 11-0-0 in district. On Friday, Cy-Fair beat Cy Lakes, 10-2, as Jordan Rains scored three runs.
After Tuesday's game, Langham Creek next plays Jersey Village on Friday.
Cy-Fair next plays Cy Creek on Friday.
