Cy-Fair company sues over patient care
A Cy-Fair-area health care services provider is suing a company in Spring over unpaid invoices for homebound patient care.
Cy-Fair’s Northwest Healthcare Services filed a lawsuit on April 1 in the Harris County District Court against Pinard Home Health, located in Spring, alleging breach of oral agreement.
The plaintiff says that in November 2010, Pinard Home Health placed job orders with Northwest Healthcare Services to supply health care professionals for its homebound patients. According to the brief, the defendant breached this oral contract by failing to pay for Northwest Healthcare’s services as agreed.
Northwest Healthcare is seeking actual damages in the amount of $178,375, attorney’s fees and court costs. It is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Howard Skolnick.
