Two local HS grads mix it up on the diamond
Two local high school graduates played prominent roles for St. Edward's in college softball action on Saturday, despite its loss to Texas A&M International, 4-3.
Langham Creek High School graduate Courtney Lavender hit her fourth home run of the year for St. Edward's. She went 1-for-2 at the plate, scoring a run and blasting her three-run shot.
Barbers Hill High School graduate Lexi Stephens went 2-for-4 and scored a run in the loss for St. Edward's.
