HS girls softball: Cypress Creek tops Cypress Woods
Cypress Creek walked off with a 5-4 win over Cypress Woods in District 17-5A high school girls softball action on Tuesday.
Pitcher Jenai Lambert picked up the win for the Cougars.
The win ups Cypress Creek to 8-9 overall and 7-5 in district play.
Cypress Creek will next visit Cy-Fair on Friday at noon.
The loss drops Cypress Woods to 11-10 overall and 8-4 in district play.
Ashley Abbott took the loss for the Wildcats.
Cypress Woods will next host Cypress Ranch on Friday at noon.
