HS girls softball preview: Jersey Village vs. Langham Creek

Jersey Village will battle Langham Creek in girls softball action on Friday.

“Langham Creek has some (great) hitters,” said Jersey Village Head Coach Bruce Beets, “so we must bring our A game Friday. They've shown they can score runs in bunches – and they are not a team to be taken lightly by any means.” 

“Thanks to our victory over Ranch on Tuesday,” Beets added, “we (are in the playoff hunt) have a lot at stake now with each and every game.”
                   
Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Jersey Village.
                       
Jersey Village has a 13-10-0 record on the season and is 8-4-0 in district play. On Tuesday, Jersey Village beat Cy Ranch, 11-5.    

Langham Creek is 3-12-0 on the year and 1-7-0 in district. On Tuesday, Langham Creek lost to Cy Ranch, 9-6.
           
After Friday’s game, Jersey Village next plays Cy Ridge on Tuesday.

Langham Creek next plays Cy Lakes on Tuesday.
