HS girls softball: Cy Woods defeats Cy Ranch
Two runs in the last inning helped Cy Woods walk off with a 6-5 victory over Cy Ranch in District 17-5A high school girls softball action on Friday.
Pitcher Morgan Truitt struck out eight batters in a complete game win.
The win ups Cy Woods to 12-10 overall and 9-4 in district play.
Cy Woods will next visit Cy Springs on Tuesday at noon.
The loss drops Cy Ranch to 11-10 overall and 9-4 in district play.
Nicole Wilganowski took the loss for the Mustangs.
