Cy-Fair resident sues over mobile home purchase
A Dayton County resident is being sued over claims that he engaged in deception when selling a mobile home to a Cy-Fair resident.
Cy-Fair resident Roberto Stanley filed a lawsuit on April 8 in the Harris County District Court against Troy Spear, alleging breach of contract.
Stanley says that on June 2, 2010, he purchased a double-wide mobile home from Spear. According to the brief, the Harris County Sheriff’s Department discovered shortly after the sale that Spear was deceptively selling the home, as it did not belong to him.
Stanley is seeking actual damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. He is representing himself in the case.
