Cy-Fair-area student honored at Oklahoma State
The College of Human Environmental Sciences (CHES) at Oklahoma State University recently honored Tori Bryant of the Cy-Fair area as a 2011 Senior of Excellence.
The award was announced at the CHES Celebration of Excellence on Friday, April 1.
Bryant will graduate this spring with a degree in design, housing and merchandising with an option in interior design. She currently serves as president of the CHES Ambassadors Peer Mentors group.
Bryant is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers, the International Interior Design Association and the International Facilities Management Association. She has also been inducted to the Golden Key, Kappa Omicron Nu, Sigma Alpha Lambda and National Society of Collegiate Scholars honor societies.
In 2009, she participated in the Kimball Office Furniture Design Competition and the Mannington Carpet Design Competition. Bryant received first place in the furniture portion and first runner-up in the carpet competition. Bryant has completed internships with PSA-Dewberry Inc., the Wendt Design Group and the Paradigm Design Group.
She is the daughter of Anita Bryant of Houston.
