Support group for teens who stutter to host meeting
The Teens Who Stutter Together support group will meet on Sunday, May 1, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Speech Emporium.
Timm West, an author/poet, performance artist and adjunct professor of philosophy/humanities at Houston Community College, will speak and share his experiences as a person who stutters.
The meeting is for teens ages 13 to 18 who stutter.
The Speech Emporium is located at 13611 Skinner Road, Suite 250, in Cypress on the second floor of a shopping center at the eastern tip of a triangle formed by 290, Skinner Road and Spring Cypress. The sign reads "Speech Therapy."
