HS girls softball: Jersey Village crushes Cy Ridge
Jersey Village powered its way to a 12-0 win over Cy Ridge in District 17-5A high school girls softball action on Tuesday.
“We did what we needed to do to win,” said Jersey Village Head Coach Bruce Beets. “We got good pitching, played error-free defense and our bats did the rest.”
Lauren Rodriguez picked up the win.
The win ups Jersey Village to 15-10 overall and 10-4 in district play.
Jersey Village will next visit Cy Creek on Friday at 6 p.m.
The loss drops Cy Ridge to 3-16 overall and 1-13 in district play.
Dominique Del Signore took the loss for the Rams.
Cy Ridge will next visit Cy Springs on Friday at noon.
