HS girls softball preview: Jersey Village vs. Cy Creek

Jersey Village will battle Cy Creek in girls softball action on Friday.

"This is a big game for us," said Jersey Village Head Coach Bruce Beets. "Cy-Creek is playing well and they are a dangerous team. There’s a four-team log jam for second place in the district, and with just three games left, we have to take charge now if we want to come out on top."

Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Jersey Village.
                       
Jersey Village has a 15-10-0 record on the season and is 10-4-0 in district play. On Tuesday, Jersey Village beat Cy Ridge, 12-0.    

Cy Creek is 8-11-0 on the year and 7-7-0 in district. On Tuesday, Cy Creek lost to Cy Ranch, 6-5.
           
After Friday's game, Jersey Village next plays Cy-Fair on Tuesday.

Cy Creek next plays Cy Springs on Tuesday.
