Cypress contractor sues over Cy-Fair project
A Cypress-area contractor is suing clients in Cy-Fair over claims they refuse to pay for services performed and materials provided.
Keeton Contract Services and KCS Inc., of Cypress, filed a lawsuit on April 12 in the Harris County District Court against Tour of Hope Foundation, Darrell Johnson and Tanaisha Johnson, alleging breach of contract.
The plaintiffs say that the defendants hired them to provide more than $150,000 worth of labor and materials, including delivering and installing appliances and performing plumbing and electrical work, on a project located at Cypresswood Drive in Cy-Fair. According to the brief, the defendants refuse to pay for these services and materials.
The plaintiffs are seeking damages in the amount of $150,213, attorney’s fees and court costs. They are being represented in the case by Houston attorney Marc Ellison.
