KRPC: Two cars catch fire in Cy-Fair parking lot
A fire spread from an SUV to a nearby pickup truck Thursday at a Cy-Fair
strip mall, Houston NBC affiliate KPRC reports:
Firefighters were called to the parking in the 17800 block of the Northwest
Freeway at Mangum Road shortly after 4 p.m. when a sport utility vehicle
went up in flames.
Firefighters said they had to back away when they heard bullets explode
inside the vehicle. Fire officials said a gun may have been inside the
burning SUV.
