HS baseball: Langham Creek defeats Cy Falls
Langham Creek defeated Cy Falls in District 17-5A baseball action Saturday.
The Lobos, 20-5-0 on the season and 10-4-0 in district play, won the game, 11-1.
Carter Magnum hit a home run and Brandon Montalvo struck out four Golden Eagles in earning the win.
"Brandon Montalvo pitched a tremendous game," Langham Creek coach Armando Sedeno said. "He’s been doing a tremendous job all year for us."
Langham Creek will visit Cy Ridge on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Saturday’s loss drops Cy Falls to 5-12-0 overall and 2-11-0 in district games.
Patrick Welmer struck out four Lobos in taking the loss for Cy Falls, who will host Cy Ridge on Friday at 7 p.m.
