In game one, Cy Springs High School graduate Brittany Upton went 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored and three RBIs.

In game two, Upton, a sophomore catcher, went 1-for-4.

Upton played at Cy Springs from 2005-2009. She was a four-time first-team All-District player. She is the daughter of Greg and Robin Wollin.
