HS boys baseball preview: Langham Creek vs. Cy Ranch
Langham Creek will battle Cy Ranch in boys baseball action on Tuesday.
The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Langham Creek.
"Huge game tomorrow," Ranch coach John Pope said, adding that he hadn't decided on his pitching as of Monday afternoon.
Langham Creek coach Armando Sedeno said that he'll likely send Hayden Jones out there, and he echoed Pope's sentiment on the matchup.
"It'll be a tremendous fight on Tuesday night," Sedeno said. "They have tremendous players all around in their lineup. They swing the bat awfully well. They’ve got a tremendous squad. We know we have to stay focused and do things the right way."
Langham Creek has 20-5-0 record on the season and is 10-4-0 in district play. On Saturday, the Lobos beat Cy Falls, 11-1.
Cy Ranch is 17-6-0 on the year and 8-4-0 in district. On Tuesday, the Mustangs lost to Cy Creek, 7-3.
After Tuesday’s game, Langham Creek next plays Cy Ridge on Thursday.
