Adoption charity to host tennis fundraiser
Spaulding for Children has recently announced that its inaugural Aces for Adoption Charity Tennis Tournament will take place on April 30 and May 1.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit Spaulding for Children, a multi-faceted organization that provides help to children who wait the longest for permanency and support services for their adoptive, foster and kinship families, according to the website.
Teams of four to six players will compete in a WITT format, Calcutta-style tournament at the Copperfield Racquet & Health Club, located at 15700 Longenbaugh Drive. The cost is $400 per team, which includes admission to the opening reception. The reception, which is scheduled for April 29 at 6:30 p.m., will offer partygoers hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment.
