Where are the lowest gas prices in Cy-Fair this week?
The cost of regular unleaded gasoline has increased once again for this week, based data from gasbuddy.com.
The site's users have reported gas rates at 28 stations around the Cypress area. The average of these rates was $3.801 as of April 26. The average of Cypress was higher than averages for Texas ($3.766) and Houston ($3.797). But compared to the national average ($3.860), Cypress average was lower by almost a nickel.
About a week ago, the gas price in the area was $3.746 per gallon.
The lowest price identified by gasbuddy.com users in Cypress was $3.69. That rate was charged by two local stations, Kroger at 18030 FM 529 near Barker Cypress Road and Exxon at 18001 FM 529 and Barker Cypress.
The Shell station at 15038 Mason Road and Fairfield Village Drive offered the most expensive regular unleaded gas in town at $3.94 per gallon. This was also last week's most expensive station.
