Dispute among neighbors leaves 1 dead in NW Harris Co.
One man died, and his neighbor was being questioned after a shooting early this morning at an apartment complex in northwest Harris County.
The shooting occurred at 8200 Sunbury near Easton Commons about 1:30 a.m. Thursday, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the man, whose name has not been released, died at the scene. Another man is being questioned about the gunfire.
The man told investigators he and his neighbor were at the apartment when one of them brought out a gun. At some point, the gun went off and the victim was shot, deputies said.
Deputies said the victim’s neighbor called 911 after the shooting. He is being questioned by investigators.
