Registration opens for Lone Star Cy-Fair's Discovery College

Registration is currently underway for children ages 6 to 14 for Lone Star College-CyFair’s (LSC-CyFair) Discovery College summer camp.

Some of the classes that will be offered are Robotics, Animation Web, Broadway Bound, Scrubs Club, Cooking and Painting, as well as an SAT Preparation class for ages 14 to 17.

“Learning for Fun” is the theme for the weeklong sessions that go from Monday, June 6, through Friday, August 5.

“What differentiates Discovery College from other camps is that we strive to promote academic, social and emotional learning in all of our sessions,” said Kenya White, director of Continuing Education. “This holistic approach is what makes learning fun.”

Camps are held at the Barker Cypress campus, 9191 Barker Cypress Road, and the Fairbanks Center campus, 14955 N.W. Freeway. The cost of the weeklong sessions is $99 per class.
