HS girls softball: Jersey Village takes two from Hastings
Jersey Village slugged its way to a pair of victories over Hastings in Class 5-A Bi-district high school girls softball playoff action on Friday, winning 15-0 and 14-0.
Lauren Rodriguez picked up the win in game one, while Megan Mobley recorded the victory in game two.
The wins up Jersey Village to 16-10 overall and 9-2 in district play.
Sarah Provzaek drove in runs in both games.
The losses drop Hastings to 5-5 overall and 5-4 in district play.
