Watkins Middle's Jessica Dunkett holds top track time

Jessica Dunkett, an 8th grade student at Watkins middle school, currently holds the top FAT time in CFISD, topping all female high school athletes.

Dunkett's official time is 44.07, making her the No. 8 300m hurdler in the state of Texas--again, including all female high school athletes in Texas.

Fully Automatic Timing (FAT) is a form of race timing in which the clock is automatically activated by the starting device. It is used for "official" purposes and is more accurate than hand-timing, which is prone to error.
