Memorial Exchange Club plans 'treasure hunt' event

The Memorial Exchange Club and Antiques on 8 will host “Treasure Hunt at Antiques on 8” on Saturday, May 14, at 6 p.m.

The event will include a silent auction of items donated by the 30 antique dealers who reside at the antique mall. Other items will be available as well, including a piece of custom jewelry being raffled off to one attendee.

For a donation of $25, people can enjoy live entertainment and dancing with music from recording artist Nash3. Once inside, there will be complimentary food, wine and beer.

The Antiques on 8 antique mall is located at 5455 W. Sam Houston Parkway N.

The Memorial Exchange Club is a group of men and women working together to make their communities better places to live through programs of service in Americanism, community service, youth activities and their national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse.
