Hewlett-Packard named in trip-and-fall suit
Hewlett-Packard is being sued over claims a Harris County resident was seriously injured at its Hockley plant.
Donald Simmons filed a lawsuit on May 4 in Harris County District Court against Hewlett-Packard Co., with offices in Cy-Fair, Holder Corp., Holder Construction Co. and USA Rebar Placers Inc., citing negligence.
Simmons says that on May 30, 2009, he sustained serious injuries in an accident at a Hewlett-Packard plant in Hockley. According to the brief, Simmons suffered severe bodily injuries when he tripped over a rebar coming out of the ground of the plant.
Simmons is seeking all damages to which he is entitled and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Loren Klitas.
