Cy Creek students to perform one-act play

The Cy Creek High School Department of Theater will perform its state-qualifying one-act play on Tuesday, May 17, at 7:30 p.m.

The one-act play features scenes from Aaron Sorkin’s “The Farnsworth Invention,” which is about two ambitious visionaries who race against each other to invent a device called “television.”

The play will be performed at the Cy Creek High School Theater, located at 9815 Grant Road.

The state competition will be held on Wednesday, May 11, in Austin. Admission for the competition is $5.
