HS baseball playoffs: Cy Creek falls to Seven Lakes
Cy Creek fell to Seven Lakes in their Class 5A Area playoff series Friday.
The Spartans, 18-17-0 overall and 8-6-0 in district play, won the game, 7-4.
Jeremy Montalbano hit a two-run home run in the victory.
"Jeremy was real good," Seven Lakes coach Chad Payne said about Montalbano. Montalbano threw a complete game, striking out three to earn the win.
Ryne Birk went 2-for-3 with a home run in the Seven Lakes win as well.
The two teams will continue their playoff series today at noon.
