Cy-Fair fell to Katy Taylor in a 6-5 loss in Class 5A Regional Quarterfinal high school girls softball action on Friday.
The loss drops Cy-Fair to 25-9 overall.
Laura Driskill took the loss.
Jennifer Hooker pitched a complete game for the victory.
Michelle Brown and Andrea Stallard both drove in two runs.
The win ups Taylor to 21-14 overall and 10-2 in district play.
