Bridgeland donates site for GHBA Benefit Home
Bridgeland has donated a homesite for the Greater Houston Builders Association's Benefit Home Project, a program that has raised more than $6 million for Houston charities.
Through the fundraiser, builders, developers and vendors donate services and materials to build homes that are sold at market value, with the majority of the proceeds benefiting local charities. Hoping to raise top dollar, the homes are built with numerous upgrades and amenities.
David Weekley is building the Benefit Home in Bridgeland's Lakeland Heights, a traditional neighborhood development where residences, retail and amenities are within walking distance. Construction starts in May. This is the third time Bridgeland has donated a homesite for the program.
