Marital arts day camp for children in Houston area
Kid’s hearts are growing fonder as the days grower shorter and shorter until summer vacation.
Meanwhile, that age old feeling of dread is starting to enter into the minds of parents.
It is not that parents don’t love their kids and enjoy seeing them more during the summer months, but they have to find care for the younger kids and make sure all kids, both young and old, are not just wasting the summer by sitting on the sofa with an I-pod, laptop or video game.
The place to turn to during this summer is Team Tooke Mixed Martial Arts. Run by Travis Tooke, the family-owned business wants to get kids active during the summer. It will not only help their health, but also help to build important character traits.
“During the summer Team Tooke Mixed Martial Arts will be hosting a summer camp with an emphasis on martial arts,” said Tooke. “Kids will learn about the benefits of martial arts and it will get them active. Kids involved in martial arts also gain confidence and learn life skills.”
The program will run Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from June 6 to July 15. There will be weekly field trips and other planned events. The camps will be broken down into age groups with two sessions with children ages 6 to 9 and 10 to 14.
Team Tooke Mixed Martial Arts is currently enrolling for the summer camp. Call today before the spaces fill up!
Team Tooke Mixed Martial Arts is located at 18730 State Highway 249 in Houston. Contact them at (877) 803-8685 or by visiting their website http://www.teamtooke.com/.
