Cy-Fair resident, Alief sports bar accused of contract breach
A company specializing in the leasing of refrigeration equipment is suing after, it says, customers are refusing to return its property.
ISI Commercial Refrigeration filed a lawsuit on May 18 in the Harris County District Court against Cy-Fair resident Mark Lehem, doing business as Loan Star Investments, Ashford Shopping Center and Jed Green, doing business as C & J’s Sports Bar and Grill, of Alief, alleging breach of contract.
ISI Commercial says that on Jan. 9, 2008, it agreed to lease refrigeration equipment to Lehem for use at Happy Hour Sports Bar, located at 3838 Dairy Ashford in Alief. ISI claims that Lehem breached this agreement by failing to pay for the equipment as promised.
According to the brief, ISI discovered that Lehem and Loan Star Investments were kicked out of the Dairy Ashford building, but the defendants refuse to return the equipment.
ISI Commercial is seeking injunctive relief, actual damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. It is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Pierce Adkins.
