TIAA sues tenant over commercial lease agreement
TIAA is suing after, it says, a tenant in Cy-Fair breached a commercial lease agreement by failing to pay rent.
Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America (TIAA) filed a lawsuit on May 19 in the Harris County District Court against TKO Sports Group, alleging breach of lease agreement.
TIAA says that it agreed to lease TKO 85,470 square feet of commercial space, located at 7354 Denny Road in Cy-Fair. According to the brief, TKO Sports Group breached this agreement by failing to pay rent in accordance with the contract.
The plaintiff is seeking actual damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. It is being represented in the case by Dallas attorney Michael Foster.
