Time running out to get kids necessary shots

With school starting for most kids next week, time is running out to get your kids the necessary immunizations. Chronicle reporter Cindy George takes a look at the process.

"It is very important that before kids are in an environment with other kids, that they are fully vaccinated against diseases such as measles and chickenpox to prevent outbreaks of those diseases," said Dr. Julie Boom, director of infant and childhood vaccines for the Center for Vaccine Awareness and Research at Texas Children's Hospital.
