LSC-CyFair hosts free summer business seminars
LSC-CyFair will offer six weeks of Business Success Seminars in June and July.
Great ideas, great connections and great business will take place every Wednesday beginning at 7:45 a.m. and lasting until 8:45 a.m., from June 15 through July 27.
This series of six seminars, designed to help build successful businesses, will cover social media, networking, alternative funding, Twitter, productivity tips and web tools, according to the press release.
“Social Media: Trend or Blip on the Radar?” will be facilitated by Michele Scism of Decisive Minds and will take place on Wednesday, June 15.
“Attracting the Right Dots or Connections,” facilitated by Belanie Dishong of Live at Choice, will take place on Wednesday, June 22.
“Alternative Funding for Startups, Acquisitions and Growing Firms,” facilitated by Eric Standlee, Principal and VP of Business Development and Bank Relationship Development, will take place on Wednesday, June 29.
“Trick or Tweet? - Ever think that Twitter was a waste of time?” will be facilitated by Ronald Earl Wilsher and will take place on Wednesday, July 13.
“Time Flies When You’re Having Fun - Do you work like crazy and then wonder why you haven’t accomplished more in a day?” will be facilitated by Melissa Rotholz, Director of the Teaching and Learning Center, will take place on Wednesday, July 20.
“Web Tools and Apps,” facilitated by Dorrie Scott and Monica Norem, will take place on Wednesday, July 27.
Registration is not required for these free weekly seminars. They will take place from 7:45 until 8:45 a.m. in the library, room 131, on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress. There will not be a seminar held July 6.
