Two men swipe bikes from Cy-Fair home in broad daylight
Crime Stoppers are asking the public to help identify two men who burglarized a garage last Friday in the Highland Timbers subdivision.
The men stole two expensive bikes from the garage of a home on Terrace Glade Court on May 27, says Sandra Rodriguez of Crime Stoppers. The burglary took place in broad daylight, between 12:30 and 2 p.m.
Rodriguez says the two drove past the house several times before stopping. Surveillance video shows the men opening their Ford Explorer's back door, approaching the house, then quickly running out and putting two bikes in the back before driving off.
The car is silver and has dark trim on the bottom and a trailer hitch on the back.
The first suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years of age, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, with a thin build, bald, and wearing a white T-shirt, khaki shorts, and brown work boots.
The second suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years of age, 5-foot-8 to 6-foot, with a heavy build, also bald, wearing a white muscle shirt and dark shorts. This suspect also has tattoos on his right forearm and left wrist.
Anyone with information on the burglary can reach Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477 or crime-stoppers.org.
