Cy-Fair company sues Aldine resident over Holiday Inn elevator install
A Cy-Fair company is suing after Kone Inc. installed three elevators in a Harris County Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites.
MBBK LLC, of Cy-Fair, filed a lawsuit on June 3 in Harris County District Court against Kone Inc. and Aldine resident Jeff Ainsley, alleging breach of contract, breach of express and implied warranties, fraud and negligent misrepresentation.
MBBK says that it hired the defendants to construct and install three EcoSpace elevators in the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites it owns. According to the brief, Kone failed to complete the work in a good and timely manner, making false promises about the work and services it provides.
MBBK is seeking actual and consequential damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. It is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Brian Zimmerman.
