Jersey Village HS grad Nick Stavinoha hits homer for Memphis
Nick Stavinoha
Jersey Village High School graduate Nick Stavinoha hit a three-run home run, going 3-for-5 with four RBIs and scoring two, as the Memphis Redbirds pummeled the Oklahoma City Redhawks, 14-2, Monday.
On the season, Stavinoha is batting .236 with 41 RBIs and nine home runs.
At Jersey Village High School, Stavinoha was part of three district-champion baseball teams ('98, '99, '00) and helped lead the football team to district titles in 1998 and 1999.
Nick is the son of Rick and Debbie Stavinoha and was born May 3, 1982.
