Cy Creek HS star running back Devan Demas commits to Boise State
Cy Creek High School running back Devan Demas brought his recruitment to an end on Saturday afternoon as he verbally committed to Boise State, according to ESPN and several other media outlets.
Last season, as a junior, Demas gained 1,749 yards on 295 rushing attempts and scored 21 touchdowns.
The Cy Creek star also caught seven balls for 177 yards and had two touchdown receptions.
Demas and the Cougars smashed favored Cinco Ranch, 54-28, in the area round playoffs last season after jumping to a 33-14 halftime advantage. Demas scored five times on runs of 3, 13, 75, 18 and 21 yards, and ended with 272 ground yards on 38 carries.
