Cy Falls to host Cy Creek Friday night
The Cy Falls Lady Golden Eagles will try and bounce back from last week's tough loss to district kingpin Cy-Fair when they travel to meet Cy Creek at 7 p.m. Friday.
Cy Falls was hoping to pull off a major upset over Cy-Fair and ultimately earn the school's first girls basketball title in quite some time.
Now, it must try and hold off a good Cy Creek team to remain in the thick of the playoff hunt.
Cy Falls (19-4 overall and 4-1 in the league) is led by Shernise Robertson, who is averaging 11.6 points per game.
Cy Creek (13-9 overall and 3-1 in the league) is paced by the scoring of Angelica Weaver, who is averaging 14.8 points per game, and Karissa Hubbard, who is pouring in 14 points per contest.
