Cy-Fair resident sued over Katy commercial lease agreement
A landlord is suing after, it says, a Cy-Fair resident breached a Katy-area commercial lease agreement.
Joseph B. & Sarah J. Rothchild Family Partnership filed a lawsuit on June 23 in Harris County District Court against Katy Tile Co. and Cy-Fair resident George Moussa, citing breach of lease agreement.
Joseph B. & Sarah J. Rothchild Family Partnership says it agreed to lease 4,000 square feet of commercial space, located at Misty Cove Plaza in Katy, to the defendants for a tile store. According to the brief, the defendants breached this agreement by failing to pay rent and abandoning the property on March 7.
The Partnership is seeking damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. It is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Eric Nielsen.
