Cy-Fair's Bayou Land Conservancy honored for education efforts
Bayou Land Conservancy recently won an award at the annual Keep Texas Beautiful statewide conference in Austin.
The Conservancy took first place in the 2011 statewide Civic Organization Youth category for its “No Child Left Inside Environmental Education” program.
This Keep Texas Beautiful award recognizes the efforts of educators and educational institutions that encourage youth involvement and promote environmental education.
The 44th annual Keep Texas Beautiful Conference was held June 20 through June 23.
