Harris Co. man charged in brother's death
A man with a history of mental illness has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of his younger brother, Harris County Sheriff's officials said.
Joshua Lelay, 24, died after he was found about 3:45 a.m. Tuesday by deputies responding to a possible stabbing at a residence in the 18100 block of Calcaterra, near US 290 and Cypress Rose Hill, officials said. Lelay was taken to North Cypress Hospital, where he died.
Investigators learned that Daniel Lelay stabbed his brother after hearing voices, officials said. The 26-year-old has a history of mental illness, investigators said.
He is in the Harris County Jail on $50,000 bond.
