Cy-Fair contractor sues Aldine resident over material and labor
A Cy-Fair contractor is suing after, he says, he was not paid for materials and labor provided on a Southwest Houston-area project.
Cy-Fair resident Hector Meza filed a lawsuit on July 1 in the Harris County District Court against Nathan Segal and Aldine resident Ray Sassar, doing business as Race Properties, citing breach of contract, common law fraud, statutory fraud and negligent misrepresentation.
Meza says that on Nov. 6, 2009, he was hired by the defendants to provide labor and materials for a renovation project in Southwest Houston. According to the brief, the defendants breached this agreement by failing to pay Meza in accordance with the contract.
Meza is seeking damages, attorney’s fees, and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Javier Marcos Jr.
