Lone Star's Cy-Fair campus to offer business seminars
LSC-CyFair’s Free Summer Business Success Seminars, sponsored by the Small Business Development Center and the LSC-CyFair Branch Library, will offer Twitter marketing tips, time management techniques, and money-saving web tools and apps beginning Wednesday, July 13.
Ronald Earl Wilsher, of Branding for Humans, will discuss the advantages of using the social networking tool Twitter to market small businesses in his presentation, titled "Trick or Tweet?" This seminar runs from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13.
Melissa Rotholz, director of the Teaching and Learning Center, will share organizational and time management tips during the presentation "Time Flies When You’re Having Fun." This workshop lasts from 7:45 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20.
Librarians Dorrie Scott and Monica Norem will present "Web Tools and Apps: Maximize productivity" with free or low-cost online and mobile tools for online file storage, real-time chat with customers, virtual meetings and task tools, beginning at 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27.
Registration is not required for these free, 60-minute Wednesday morning seminars. These classes will take place in the library, room 131, on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress.
