Cypress Creek grad completes Air Force basic training
Air Force Airman 1st Class Shawn P. Ward, a Cypress Creek alum, has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base.
Ward completed an intensive eight-week course that included military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principals and skills. Airmen who complete the course receive four credits toward an associate degree in applied science.
Ward is the son of Donald and Sandy Ward of Crickett Hollow Drive.
