Aggie moms to hold September meeting in Cy-Fair
The Aggie Moms Club of the Northwest Harris County region (NWHC) will hold its kickoff fall meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
The group will discuss the safety of Aggie students and welcome guest speaker Officer D. Donovan, who is a Crime Prevention Specialist at the Texas A&M University (TAMU) campus in College Station. Officer Donovan will discuss all aspects of safety on campus including “Code Maroon” and give insight into the ways students at Texas A&M can help prevent crimes on campus.
The NWHC Aggie Moms Club is designed to support the Aggies through student scholarships and financial donations to many campus organizations. This year, the NWHC Aggie Moms Club distributed more than $30,000 in funds back to TAMU through donations to student organizations, scholarships, projects and services.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Houston Distributing Co., located at 7100 High Life Drive.
