Cypress business to host water safety event on Saturday

Sea Sports Swim will hold its grand opening on Saturday, Aug. 6.

The store will also offer 10 percent off the cost of merchandise, swim lesson specials, water aerobics specials, CPR training specials and lifeguard training specials. There will also be door prizes, giveaways and goody bags.

Along with the grand opening, there will be a free community safety event, where Sea Sports Swim staff will help educate adults and children about water safety.

There will be in-water safety lessons for children and a safety presentation for parents. Guest presenters will be the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Katchakid and Safe Kids-Houston.

The grand opening will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 12001 Barker Cypress.
