Williams-Sonoma to offer cooking classes at Willowbrook Mall
The August Williams-Sonoma classes at Willowbrook Mall will offer simple cooking ideas for keeping everyone on schedule.
At noon on Sunday, Aug. 7, the “Fresh Starts-Weekday Breakfasts” class will provide inspiration and easy recipes to help energize.
At noon on Sunday, Aug. 14, the "Lunch Bunch-Satisfying Brown Bags for Busy Families” class will feature favorite “to-go foods” plus homemade snacks.
At noon on Sunday, Aug. 21, the “Cook Once, Eat Twice” class will teach simple strategies for preparing extra to create more meals during the week. People will learn how to make a master recipe along with dishes that feature leftovers in inventive new ways. Additionally, students will learn food-storage basics, safe ways to freeze and thaw leftovers, and tips for planning weeknight meals.
And at noon on Sunday, Aug. 28, the “Gluten-Free Baking” class will teach an introduction to gluten-free baking. Partnering with BabyCakes, an award-winning New York bakery, the class will demonstrate some of their recipes and discuss the correct flours and other ingredients to use, plus techniques for making tender baked goods.
Individuals who attend any of the technique classes will enjoy 10 percent savings on same-day purchases from the retailer.
