Aug. 9 concert to benefit Cy-Hope

The concert, Fusion, will feature Cy-Fair musicians performing original music of Nitish Kulkarni to benefit Cy-Hope.

The concert, directed by Kulkarni and showcasing instruments from around the world, will be from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at The Foundry Methodist Church, 8350 Jones Road in Houston.

All proceeds will go to Cy-Hope, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to bettering the lives of children in the Cypress-Fairbanks community, and created by leaders at Foundry Methodist. According to its website, Cy-Hope "is being created to rally the entire community around the goal of helping each and every Cy-Fair school become an Exemplary School."
