'Sounds of Cypress' band seeks new members

The Sounds of Cypress Concert Winds will begin regular rehearsals for its 2011-2012 concert season on Tuesday, Aug. 16.

The band is inviting musicians interested in joining to attend the rehearsal and play at 7:30 p.m. New members are encouraged to come by early to meet the conductors.

The band practices at the Lone Star College Cy-Fair Campus, 9191 Barker Cypress Road, in Room A101 of the Fine Arts Building.
